Situated in the ground floor of GHD building in a residential area of Freemans Bay, it's a hidden gem for sure. Friday I'm in Love serves up beautifully-presented dishes and is a perfect place to catch-up with friends over brunch.

Friday I'm in Love is not a place you would easily stumble across, away from other eateries in the area, but it is worth a visit. Located in a residential area, parking is easy.
Firstly, how good do these dishes look? Presentation was amazing! Don't need an excuse to come here any day of the week when the food looks this good.
After a couple of visit here, you will start to notice the similarities between the dishes. Pretty much half their menu consists of poached egg and/or potato croquette in the dish - definitely shows its versatility but also just seems repetitive. If you're not a huge fan of either, chances are your options are limited if you want to avoid it.

Friday Im in Love also boasts some amazing cabinet food if you're after something smaller with a coffee or to takeaway. With a lovely interior, this is a great spot for brunch or coffee dates with your mates!
On my first visit here, I got the Five Spiced Pork Belly - a unique dish with the uncommon pairing of poached eggs with pork belly, as well as potato croquette. Broccolini is also a common feature in their dishes. I also had an iced chocolate - quite sweet but I rather enjoyed it.

A popular dish is the French Toast which is beautifully presented. Anzac crumble, poached caramelised pear & dulce de leche panna cotta on a vanilla bean brioche drizzled with organic maple. Special mention to the dolce de leche panna cotta that comes with it - I had a taste of it on my first time here and just loved the creaminess of it. Plus it goes nicely with the toast too. It was a no-brainer that I was getting this on my second visit! The crumble added some crunch and the dish is balanced with the fruit. But I would totally just have that panna cotta by itself as dessert!
