A beautiful venue with great views of the Viaduct basin, Oyster & Chop has plenty of seafood and steak options on offer and makes for a great dining experience.
I chose to dine at this Viaduct restaurant for my birthday dinner for something fancier to treat myself and it was an excellent choice. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Oyster and Chop. We arrived around 6 pm and the place was quite busy already. Seating is comfortable but classy. Our food was on the table much faster than expected (even before our drinks!). We ordered the Seafood Chowder and Gnocchi and loved both! The chowder had heaps of seafood and bacon. This was also the first time we had tried gnocchi and oh my, it got us hooked! Now, we order it every time we see it on the menu. We were both very full after the meal (but probably because we snuck in a burger after my birthday lunch as well). Of course, Oyster & Chop is a must-try if you're an oyster lover. They have a fresh oyster bar featuring four to eight varieties at any one time.
Also got a complimentary truffle dessert for my birthday. Such lovely atmosphere and service from the staff too. Thank you Oyster & Chop for the wonderful evening!
